HIIT PART II


HIIT weight loss actually comes from fat loss rather than muscle loss. It raises the body’s metabolism, i.e. the amount of calories burned. Imagine, more fat loss in less time! It is like the fountain of youth. In fact, HIIT increases the natural Human Growth Hormone by up to 450% during the 24 hours following the exercise. HGH is responsible for slowing down the aging process. The body also burns more calories for up to 24 hours after this type of training, thus producing lasting results.

Short burst of all out exertion (anaerobic activity which is defined as “without oxygen”) followed by recovering back to aerobic (with oxygen) activity can easily be done anywhere and anytime. But add the benefit of wearable technology and it working out in intervals becomes even more effective and trackable.
