Slow Baked Winter Squash
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Pierce the Squash near the stem with a knife (to let steam escape)
Place the Squash in a shallow pan with a little water in ti and bake for 50-60 min
Cut Squash in half and scoop out seeds. Cut in half again and serve with peel on
Slow Roasted Winter Squash
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
Cut Squash in half and scoop out seeds.
Place Squash with cut side down in a baking dish and bake for 45 min.
Healthy Steamed Butternut Squash (or any other)
Fill the bottom of steamer with water and begin heating
Cut Butternut Squash into 1 inch cubes
Steam covered for 7 minutes. It should be tender, but still firm enough to hold shape
Transfer to a bowl and toll with extra virgin olive oil, or coconut oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper while still hot.
